Emily Jane Brontė was an English novelist and poet. Her only novel, Wuthering Heights, became a classic of English literature. Emily was the second eldest of the three surviving Brontė sisters, between Charlotte and Anne. Emily published under the pen name Ellis Bell. In 1850, Charlotte edited and published Wuthering Heights as a stand-alone novel and under Emily's real name.

Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights is the only novel by Emily Brontė. The narrative tells the tale of the all-encompassing and passionate, yet thwarted, love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, and how this unresolved passion eventually destroys them and many around them.
