For those teachers looking for tips to deal with unmotivated students,  this is a presentation by Ken Wilson in which he suggests ten ways for motivating the unmotivated. It is a bit long video but worth watching.

  1. Make them curious
  2. Challenge them
  3. Avoid the obvious
  4. Devolve responsibility
  5. Teach unplugged (occasionally)
  6. Let them use their tech and their tech skills
  7. … and their imagination
  8. Find out they know and what they are good at
  9. Take a break
  10. turn your classroom into a spider’s web
